326 Constables Graduated from the National Police College of Jamaica.
The manpower of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has been boosted with the graduation of 326 new police constables from the National Police College in Twickenham Park, St Catherine on Friday, April 29, 2016
The graduates, comprising of 266 male and 60 females completed seven months of rigorous training, which included law and police procedures, communication, group dynamics, public speaking, baton and firearm expertise, and debate. For the first time in the history of the Jamaica Constabulary Force, eighteen (18) trainee constables were trained and certified as force drivers.
The ceremony included the presentation of five special awards for best shot, highest mark obtained, best Christian principles, best all-round student, and best leadership qualities.
Minister of National Security the Honourable Robert Montague, in his brief address to the graduates, challenged them to perform their duties with professionalism and honesty .
